FAQ
Questions, answered plainly
What is Ittihad Cooperative?
A savings and investment circle started by nine friends. Members contribute every month into one pool, the pool is invested in reviewed opportunities, and the growth goes toward shared goals: first land, then our own flat, then whatever we choose next.
How much do members contribute?
There is a fixed monthly amount and a yearly top-up, set by the committee. The current amounts are on the How to join page. They can be adjusted for a member when needed.
Are returns guaranteed?
No. Investments can go up or down. Every projection on this site and in the app is labelled as a scenario, and members' dashboards keep what they paid in separate from what growth added.
What does the Shariah label mean?
It records the cooperative's own review: pending, under review, approved or not approved, with who reviewed it, when, and their notes. It is not a religious or legal ruling, and we never claim compliance on our own authority.
What is the Dream Fund?
The part of our capital set aside for the current goal. It is separate from the total portfolio: an investment can sit in the portfolio while only a defined share of it counts toward the land.
How is my share worked out?
With units, like a mutual fund. Each verified deposit buys units at that month's value per unit, and your units rise or fall with the portfolio. The method is written down and open to every member.
Can members see each other's finances?
No. You see your own deposits, units and documents, plus the cooperative's totals. Other members' contributions, units and documents stay private, and this public site shows only cooperative-level figures.
How is my data kept safe?
Passwords are hashed, sessions live in secure cookies, every change to money or roles is logged, and every permission is checked on the server. Uploaded documents are private files that only you and the cashiers can open.
